Muscle Man is an Android strength training app built around three pillars: move, fuel and rest. The app runs entirely on your device. It has no account system, no sign-in, and no server that stores your information. Everything you log is written to storage on your own phone.
Muscle Man saves the following on your device so the app can show your history and adjust your training:
This information is held in the app's local storage. The Android app also keeps a second copy in its own private app storage, purely so that an Android storage eviction cannot destroy months of logged training. Both copies stay on your device, are not readable by other apps, and are removed when you uninstall Muscle Man.
Muscle Man does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. The app does not ask for an email address, phone number, contacts, location or payment details, and it has no login of any kind. Nothing you enter is sent to us or to anyone else.
Some of what you log is health-adjacent: body weight, body measurements, training history, food and water intake, and sleep times. All of it is recorded and used only on your device, to build your plan and show your progress. It is never transmitted off the device, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties.
Progress photos are optional. A photo is only added when you tap to add one and choose it through the Android photo picker, which gives the app that single image and nothing else. The app downscales the photo on your device and stores it alongside the rest of your local data. Progress photos are never uploaded.
Muscle Man requests only the permissions its features need:
Muscle Man works fully offline. It does not include an advertising SDK, and no analytics service is configured in this release, so the app does not send usage events anywhere.
Muscle Man does not process payments and does not collect or store payment information. No billing provider is configured in this release.
Because the data is yours and lives on your device, you can take it or destroy it at any time:
There is no account to delete and no server-side copy of your data for us to hold, because none was ever created.
Muscle Man involves resistance training and body measurement tracking and is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have received personal information from a child, contact us at puzzlethrone@gmail.com and we will review the request.
Muscle Man provides general fitness and nutrition guidance. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new training or nutrition programme, particularly if you have an injury or a medical condition.

The Muscle Man Android app does not embed active third-party advertising or analytics services. This privacy policy is hosted on the Puzzle Throne website, and visits to this web page may be processed according to Puzzle Throne's website privacy practices.
If Muscle Man later adds accounts, cloud sync, ads, analytics or any other form of data collection, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety answers will be updated before that version is released.
